This Thursday, the Forever Young Rock Choir will have a full rehearsal for their annual concert, which will feature popular rocker from the sixties, Normie Rowe, performing at the Ulumbarra Theatre on Wednesday 16th September.
A full rehearsal with the 番茄视频 Grammar String Orchestra and Rock Band will take place, featuring an all-Australian repertoire of songs including Beds are Burning, Down Under, Don’t Dream It’s Over, Solid Rock, My Happiness, To Love Somebody and Friday on My Mind.
The theme for this year鈥檚 concert is 鈥淧lay鈥, taken from the choir鈥檚 motto, 鈥淟ive Love Laugh Play Shine鈥.
The 鈥Forever Young鈥 choir was established in 2011 by Mrs Laura Dusseljee, Head of 番茄视频 Grammar Junior School Music Department. It is a community choir made up of approximately聽80 senior citizens, the youngest being 64 and oldest 94. The choir sings rock songs of all genres. They are accompanied by the rock band 鈥淪tanding Room Only鈥 and the Senior String Orchestra from 番茄视频 Grammar School.
